1/1/2003 Break out the Vodka, I mean Champagne. Went over 1,000 visits for the month. Yahoo! A major milestone for this lousy site.
12/28/2002 Okay I am out of here tomorrow. Yes, Mom called and son you need to come back to the USA at least once every 5 years and visit your family. Yes, I have a Mother believe it or not. I am going to tear myself away from the web for two or three weeks and try to become human again. My bosses say they are getting too many complaints about me, so take the extra time off. I will be back around January 15, 2003.
So keep on visiting! Happy New Year.
12/27/2002 A beautiful day here. Finally updated the web design. But need to organize things. Once you have a 1,000 picture files it would be good they were in folders. I did not understand about folders until last week. So now have a 1,000 image files in the web design linked to 20 different htm files. So who is going to sort it out?
12/26/2002 Okay we compromised I will leave on the 29 th for an "undisclosed location", that is what my boss told me. Hope I don't meet Dick Cheney there.
12/25/2002 So it is Xmas in the rest of the World but here it is not. Okay what about us foreigners, what do we do? Want a minute to I leave tomorrow on January 8 th. I got to call my boss.
12/24/2002 Now I am mad Xmas here is January 7 th. They use the old calendar so it is not the 25 th. They need to talk to the Pope and get on the same page on the Xmas business. I mean how can you celebrate on two different days. There is only one god and I don't think he is Russian or American?
12/23/2002 Okay it is Xmas time. So giving everyone a big present, I am leaving the day after Xmas! And getting upset as it looks like we will not break 1000 visits this month.
12/22/2002 Well time to leave I think. Somebody turned the heat off in my room. The glass of water had broken as it had frozen solid. Figure it was about -10 in my room. It was a little hard getting out of the bed. Between the broken glass and the temperature, a little rough. Okay, I have been a little tough this week, but give me a break Xmas is in a few days. And I am going to be here? Of course I am going to get a little mean. And the sun set at 3 o'clock today. That will cheer up anyone won't it?
12/21/2002 Shortest day of the year. The old sun came up at 9:30 set at 3 o'clock. Worked on the web design and added more pictures. Seems that is what people want so, what can you do. Okay but nobody has bought anything. So what is the point of our web design?
12/20/2002 Heat wave has hit us. It is -20 or so. Got called from the Head office. Appears the workers are complaining about me again. So they may give me a trip out of here over the holidays. Actually thought it would be good to spend the holidays here. But may be that is a sign I should leave?
12/19/2002 Okay this is Thursday but really like a Friday. To get a three day holiday, Constitution Day on the 12 the, we worked Sunday. So we have a 6 day work week. Well people are paying the price, have already fired two people and it is just Thursday. May be need to hit the Banya and whack each other with Birch branches?
But the bright side on a roll to hit more than 1,000 visits.
12/18/2002 Web design, well okay optimized for Siberia Pictures. What do we get out of it, nothing!!! We have not had one sale since we started. Okay, we bought some Siberia Gym coffee mugs for ourselves. Money, we want money, how do we get it?
12/17/2002 I get my thrills seeing us listed on Google. Cheap thrills notice that named the testimonial page testimonial. Has been like that for 5 months. Web Design, well lots of fun, for the experts. Just noticed also must have 10 different font sizes and types in this one page.
12/16/200 Time for the monthly task of turning this into another web page. It is too long. And you know those nasty search engines do not like long web pages. Keep them under 600 words to optimize for Google, optimize that web design folks.
12/15/2002 Well a break from the web. The sun came up at 10 Am and set at 3 PM. Little daylight, we have had to increase the voltage to keep the animals inside the fence, I mean the workers.
12/14/2002 Well if you optimize web design and read the stuff. They say us a "pix". A "pix" is a one pix picture. Understand that? Well anyway in theory you can put a 1000 "pix" in your web page and in the image info HTML use your key words. If you understand that well something is wrong with you.
And just try to find a "pix" in your web page. You end up looking through the HTML for a "pix" . Okay I am not on drugs this happened.
12/13/2002 Well no scam, no credit card number stealing, Xenu, works. His logo looks like he is on drugs but it works and fast?
12/12/2002 So screw them. Do a web search and find Xenu Okay the web site looks like a scam download or not?
12/11/2002 Downloaded linkscan. The web site, well you would think they are rocket scientist or something. A free trial so what to hell. But never figured it out. And it looks like they want $300.
12/10/2002 Well it is link checking time. So had downloaded nomore404 for free. It only checks 3 levels for free. So lets buy it. But the site is a scam? You can buy and enter credit card data but your email does not show up on the form, someone else's does. Email the webmaster but email address is entered wrong. So where to go now for checking links?
12/9/2002 Well it warmed up today about -40, so we are slowly trying to get things moving again. No problem with the computer network so still coming at you.
12/8/2002 Okay today it was -50 so we decided too many people are freezing to death trying to work. So we shut down operations for a few days. Even cold in the gym, about -10.
12/7/2002 Still cold as hell. But I work on web design and send poor bastards out into -50. Life is good!
12/6/2002 The guys that froze to death, sent them home today. Made up some big story that they died trying to save the World or something.
12/5/2002 Warmed up to -41 today. Still too cold to work outside, but I went to the gym. But somebody turned the heat off again. It was about -20 in the gym. Man that is cold. But after working out the temperature was up to -10, so not too bad.
12/4/2002 Web design has to take a bad seat today. -44 in this paradise. Lost a few people when they froze to death. I have told them a 100 times to not walk home from the bar when it is below -40. Either you will freeze to death or I will fire you. Do you think they listen, no!
12/3/2002 Well today, guess what the labor inspector for the Federal Government shows up and says I had not right to fire the guy. I told okay instead of firing him, I will kill him, is that a legal action? He said my department does not deal with murder, so I would not know.
I took a swing at the guy but he was fast and got away. Anyway I hired the guy back. Turns out he has some ideas for promoting the site. I wonder if he is feeding me a line?
12/2/2002 Okay, I got carried away. I was pissed about the site. So fired somebody today. The guy has 4 kids, wife does not work, a real sob story. But what the hell somebody has to feel as bad as me.
12/1/2002 Yes, missed a major milestone 1,000 visits. Okay not the end of the world. But somebody is going to pay!
